The design of Sycamore Rug superimposes a cross-section of an oblong sycamore tree. At this large scale and with its contrasting yet simple colors - it reminds us how the natural qualities of trees can be felt with our toes in a home space. "For me, designing textiles is to play with the tactile, visual, and structural qualities of yarns while coordinating these with pattern and woven structures."

Sycamore Wool & Bamboo Silk Rug is a ZigZagZurich x Young Finnish Design collaboration product designed by Young Finnish Designer Josh Krute.

Using a combination of wool and bamboo silk, the carpets are woven in Europe using the highest quality looms making them luxurious to the touch yet long-lasting / hard-wearing. We transform original art which supports the artists directly with every product sold.

Each sq meter contains 820,000 points. The rug is finished with a non-slip finish underneath.

The bamboo silk pile has the feel of natural silk - soft and durable.
